1. What this site is

Plug & Pylon publishes informational content about home EV charging. It sells nothing, installs nothing and provides no professional service of any kind. It is published by Fathom & Foundry.

2. Electrical safety disclaimer

• Content about breaker sizing, conductor sizing, circuit requirements and installation is general information only, presented so you can understand what a professional is doing.
• Requirements vary by jurisdiction, by installation, by run length, by ambient conditions and by the specific equipment. A table on a website cannot know your house.
• Always follow your manufacturer's installation instructions, your local electrical code and the direction of a licensed electrician. Where those conflict with anything here, they win.
• Do not attempt work inside an electrical panel or new circuit wiring unless you are qualified and permitted to do so.
• Obtain the required permits and inspections. Why that matters.

3. Accuracy

We source every claim and cite it, and we review pages on a published schedule. We do not guarantee that everything is current or error-free -- products change, prices change, codes change, and tax rules change. Verify anything you are going to act on, particularly specifications, prices, tax and rebate status, and electrical requirements.

We have not tested any product on this site and we do not claim to have. How we pick.
